FAQ

How much should I ideally save per month if I want to buy silver coins?

It is up to you how much metal you want to have purchased. It is sensible to set up your standing order so that it safely exceeds the average price of one coin. If you send only the minimum of 25 EUR to your Silver Account, it may not always be enough for one coin. In that case, no purchase will be made in the first buying round, so you will end up with fewer coins purchased over the year. It is sensible to set up a standing order with your bank so that at least one silver coin is purchased every month. This way, your average price for the year will be ideal, because in every month you will have at least one coin at the current price.

The most common deposit among clients saving in silver coins is currently 50 EUR, followed by 100 EUR. The minimum of 25 EUR is only in third place. For other products, it is advisable to send more, approximately the price of one piece.

If you send me the purchased coins at the end of the year and there are fewer than 100 of them, will my bonus entitlement carry over or not?

Of course, your bonus entitlement will be carried over to the following year in full. Further purchases will continue to be credited to you until you reach the bonus. The bonus will then be credited to your Silver Account. However, you must meet the basic bonus condition, i.e. send the minimum amount every month without interruption.

I want to save in Maple Leaf coins and in a gold bar. Is that possible on a single Silver Account?

We will open a separate Silver Account for you free of charge for each type of saving. The account number is also the variable symbol (payment reference) for your payment. When your payment reaches us, the variable symbol (i.e. your account number) tells us which of your accounts the money should be credited to. You can therefore have several Silver Accounts, whether for different products or, for example, separate accounts for your children or grandchildren. Just keep in mind that each account operates independently, both in terms of payments and the conditions for receiving bonuses.

Why do you recommend setting up a standing order for payments to the Silver Account?

A standing order ensures that you do not forget to make your payment on time and therefore do not lose your bonuses in gold and silver. Remember that the condition for receiving a bonus is regular deposits to your Silver Account. A standing order therefore appears to be the optimal solution.

Are account opening, account maintenance and transactions really free? Are there no hidden fees?

There are none. Opening a Silver Account, account maintenance, crediting deposits and withdrawals, and annual storage of the metal are all completely free of charge. Shipping the purchased metal once a year is charged at the cost of postage. If you use the Silver Account for regular deposits into precious metals, account maintenance, transactions, storage throughout the year and administration are all completely free. You pay postage only once a year, when we ship the metal to you. There are no hidden fees.

Why is the metal stored for one year only? Why don't you offer longer storage?

We start from the fact that the safest option for the client is to have the purchased metal under their own control. That is why the precious metal needs to be in your own possession. We have chosen a logical shipping frequency of once a year so that regular saving in metal makes sense. Your purchased precious metal will therefore arrive in time for Christmas. We do not offer longer storage.

We are concerned that companies offering free storage do not hold the metal physically and separately from their own stock and assets. We, on the other hand, strictly separate the metal purchased for clients through the Silver Account service from our own assets. Metal purchased in this way therefore cannot be traded, which would be the only possible way to cover the costs of so-called long-term free storage. Our principle is that the purchased metal is yours, and therefore we must not trade with it. This is for your safety: the metal is yours and is kept separate from our assets. Nobody can take it away from you.

Silver Account. Can I also save in gold here?

Yes, the Silver Account allows you to save in both silver and gold. The name Silver Account is a registered trademark of ours for this service.

Why do I pay entry fees or account maintenance fees elsewhere, but not with you?

Entry fees mainly pay for salespeople and agents who come to you with contracts. As a rule, you first save to cover the entry fee and only then for yourself. We do not want that. We do not pay any salespeople or agents out of your money. There is therefore no reason for us to charge any entry or exit fee. With a Silver Account, you buy metal under the same conditions as the current prices in our e-shop.

Where do you get the funds for the bonuses in gold and silver? I don't pay anything extra, the price is the same as on the website...?

Since the whole process is automated and shipping takes place once a year, you save us processing and shipping costs. There is a difference between packing and sending 12 shipments a year and sending just one. This is where the savings come from. What you have saved us in work and costs, we are happy to give back to you in the form of a bonus in gold or silver (depending on what you are saving in).

When a purchase is made, what is the price?

Purchases always take place at the beginning of the month, according to the stated rules. The price will be the same as the e-shop price at the time of purchase.
